Okay. I've been feeling snarky and writing malarkey about Jarvis quite recently. It's easy to depersonalize an A lister because as media icons, they are already depersonalized. So perhaps we expect more (including thicker skins) and we [I] lay it on thicker than we [I] would if this was someone viewed as a peer instead of as a left-end power curve unicaster.

I generally don't read the unicasters because there's no community in it for me. I might better read the New York Times. But, here's the deal... by reading Jarvis, I found out about this conference at the New School. So there's value there, information. I just have a hard time cutting through my own invisibility.
